Ingredients
1 whole chicken (with insides removed)
1 15.5 oz can chickpeas
1 stick butter
fresh rosemary, thyme and sage
1 tsp garlic
2 TBS olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Chop fresh herbs and set aside
Mix chickpeas with salt, pepper, olive oil and a pinch of herbs
Mix butter with fresh herbs and salt
Stuff chicken with chickpeas and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish
In between skin and meat add butter herb mix throughout entire chicken
Cook for 1 hour or until chicken is fully cooked
Remove chickpeas and cut chicken
