Gluten-free donuts are a huge deal in our house. Unfortunately they are not easy to come by and when we do find them they are never that good. This recipe is so easy and tastes exactly like a cake donut from a donut shop. My family absolutely loves them and they make my kids so happy.
Ingredients
2 cups gluten free flour (I use cup 4 cup, just make sure it has xanthan gum)
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
4 TBS melted butter
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease donut pans
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
Add eggs, butter, milk and vanilla to dry ingredients and mix until smooth
Place the batter in a ziplock bag and cut about 1/2 inch off corner
Squeeze batter into donut pans
Cook for 10 minutes and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing from pan
Microwave white chocolate and heavy cream for 30 seconds, stir and continue heating in 20 minute increments, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.
Dip cooled donuts in white chocolate and add sprinkles
Let harden
ENJOY!
