Growing up in a big Italian family, lasagna was always a favorite. My grandpa always made the best lasagna and it was something we were all sad to give up once going gluten free. Thankfully gluten free lasagna is a thing and there are great gluten free alternatives that make this lasagna taste just like what Grandma used to make. I hope you enjoy!

Serves 12 Prep Time 20 min Total Time 1 hr 35 min
Ingredients
1 pound ground sausage
1 pound ground turkey
2 24 oz jars of pasta sauce
15 oz container ricotta cheese
8 oz bag shredded mozzarella
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 package gluten free oven-ready lasagna
1 tsp Italian seasoning (I use Fresh Jax)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
In a large pan brown sausage and turkey and season with salt and Italian seasoning
In a bowl season ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt
Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and coat bottom with a thing layer of pasta sauce and place lasagna on top covering the bottom
Top lasagna with sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan and meat evenly spreading between 2 and 3 layers (leave enough sauce and mozzarella cheese to cover top)
Top with remaining lasagna noodles and coat with sauce and mozzarella cheese
Cover with a piece of aluminum foil that has been greased and cook for 45 minutes
Uncover and cook for an additional 15 minutes
Remove from oven and let sit for 15 minutes before serving
